Power Off and Lock Screen app enables users to power off and lock the screen of any Android device without compromising security policies that mandate a PIN for unlocking. This functionality allows users to utilize their fingerprint for unlocking the device, mirroring the experience of using the hardware power key.

Additionally, Power Off and Lock Screen can be designated as the Assist App on a device, facilitating activation by long-pressing the Home key.

For users encountering issues with the screen off animation not displaying even after reinstalling the app, follow these steps:

• Android 4.x: Navigate to "Settings > Developer options > Transition animation" and select the 1x option.
• Android 2.x: Ensure the "All animations" option is selected under "Settings > Display > Animation".
